21041/arp/tftp

Hi,

I'm trying to get a 21041 card to boot from a Linux server with netboot,
using the dec packet driver 11_4: 
DC21X4X device, version 11.4
Portions Copyright 1998, Digital (version 2.62)

netboot and the driver figure out the ip-address with the bootpd
fine, and tries to download the image ("Loading: <image file>", the 
filename is ok) Then it sends out an arp-request and the arp-request
with the servers ip-address. This one is answered by the server correctly.
But netboot reports "Loader error 11", which seems to be "ARP TIMEOUT".
I tried the -w and -p options of the packet driver, no change.

The tftp isn't started, no tftp packets are being sent out. 

Any hints?
