No. I get 10 ms ping times, and around 1Mb per second throughput.

No I don't have a hub. My girlfriend has a spare (10mbps) hub, but she
forgot to take it along last time she dropped by...

Nope. Nothing else on the crossover cable.... :-)

Pentium Pro/150. 96Mb RAM. Yeah. That should do it :-)
