i think that this will work ;-)
the nt botloader needs a file with just the first block (boot sector, 512 bytes)
of the hard disk to boot from. the rest will be loaded from the disk - i dont
think that this (the rest of the image) can be loaded via tftp.
i would suggest
- use loadlin: copy loadlin.exe and the kernel on the disk und start it from
the dos prompt
- create a (little) linux (ext2) partition and but the kernel there; you could
use the remainder of this parttition to create a swap file
