Dear Sir,
         Good evening.

I went throughly through the article about setting up DISKLESS NODE.
    Then, i tried to Configure & Set up the same system in my Lab as exactly 
you wrote there in the article. Since, then i have been getting some 
confusions as some command is not working.

   I request you to give me help or instruction if you feel convenient time. 
I would be greatful to you always.

My Problem are;

1. I could not install BOOTP and TFTP for the Booting time.
   I tried with the command   tftp at prompt, i think it worked cuz i
   got  tptp> prompt.
      But when i tried with command BOOTP at prompt then it did not
       respond. So, i thought the BOOTP had not installed.
I do not know how can we install BOOTP, DHCP and TFTP.

2. Next, there is no file with the name "bootptab" i.e., etc/bootptab.
   Please let me know, how can i edit or find this file.

3. There is command like in the document like;

    bootps  dgram  udp wait root  /usr/sbin/in.bootpd

But it showed erroe when i tried command   etc/tcpdchk

   Besides, there is no file with name in.bootpd inside usr/sbin directory. 
I think there should be this file for that command to work.

Please let me know about this command

4. I tried to enable BOOTP from Network setting menu but during booting  
eth0 showed failed. It worked with Manual system with IP Address 192.168.0.1
   Besides my another confusion, if we enable BOOTP then how the server will 
get the IP address 192.168.0.1 beacuse we should put this IP for server.

5. How can we check the MAC address of server's NIC card.

I request you to send me your confirmed worked literature to setup exact 
system.


Please do not feel bored to give me reply. I hope you will definately help 
me as soon as possible.

  I assume your perfect help will definately help me make Linux very popular 
in  Nepal.
