Here is (probably not a complete list) a selection of ROMs that our test records
indicate support on the 905B:

Atmel 29C512 DIP, Atmel 29LV512, Atmel 49BV512, Atmel 29LV010B , SST 29LE010 ,
SST 39VF010, Atmel 49F001N, SST 29EE010, SST 39SF010, STM 29W512B, AM 29LV010B

We primarily use the Atmel 29C512., sometimes the SST depending on availability.

Hi !

I'm searching for an eprom for a 3com 3c905 and 3c905b NIC.

I tried an Atmel AT29C512 flash memory chip which worked fine in a 3c905.

Now I'm searching for an eprom which works in both NICs and is not as easily
overwritten as a flash memory chip. As stated in the README for 3c90x cards the
3c90x support up to 512Kb memory chips but all eproms I found are only 28-lead
DIP and the 3c905b has a 32 pin socket.

I tried a M27C1001 eprom which is a 1Mit chip and destroyed the card. 3c90xCFG
failes in the FIFO test.

Does anyone know of an eprom which works ?
