kernel params ?

Hi,

I`m trying to boot an alpha diskless from its OSF-console.

The kernel starts allready, but fails to find the "/", bootp should
have told him.

I suspect, this is a bug of the alphakernel itsself, therefore I need to know:

- Is there a way to put the info about "/" into the kernel params ?
  (root=/... does only seem to work on harddrives, not NFS volumes.)
