Oh yes, the patch:
in via-rhine.c, go to line 412-413 and change:
#define TX_RING_SIZE 4
#define RX_RING_SIZE 4
to
#define TX_RING_SIZE 2
#define RX_RING_SIZE 2

Anyway, looks like Etherboot supports yet another card.
