Hello!

I have a difficult problem with a 3c905b-tx.

When I try to boot from floppy (syslinux + zlilo-file) the computer
hung at line 269 in 3c90x.c (etherboot 5.0.1)
"while (inw(ioaddr +regCommandIntStatus_w) & INT_CMDINPROGRESS);".

It just print out the text:

Probing...[3c90xB-TX] (Oops, I don't remember exactly... I don't have
the computer available for a couple of days)

and then nothing.

The strange thing is that if I run the 3com DOS-program 3c90xcfg.exe
"3c90xcfg configure", and then try the same thing everything works
perfect.

If I then boot NT4.0 (with unknown 3com driver), and after that try my
syslinux floppy (or plain floppyimage) again, it is stuck again. Arrggh!

Any ideas anyone?

Of course I can try to debug it more, but maybe someone already know
something good.

P.S. I thought I was smart when I tried a floppy with DOS and
3c90x.com. Then I could just do a "3c90xcfg configure" before I run
3c90x.com, but no :-( a differnt bug appeared. The 3c90x.com got my
DOS-image (made with the old Gero K. mknbi-dos) but the it stops. The
corresponding 3c90x.lzlilo works perfect (after I did run
"3c90xcfg configure").
