FYI, I added code to FreeBSD to "wire" down the NIC the use for BOOTP.
The probe order of NICs could be different then netboot uses.  I don't
know if this is an issue or not for you.  I don't know if Linux has the
ability to define which NIC to use for BOOTP and root fs.
