I made some expirements today and found out that it is more like 
"raw image format" then the tagged one. Well, bootimage prepared 
with mknbi doesn't work. But when I tried just small linux kernel as 
a boot image (just a kernel, not "tagged") it at least didn't hang 
saying "invoked primary bootstrap" but started loading linux 
instead! (loading ....... uncompressing linux ... invalid compressed 
format (err=1) - system halted). Ok, system halted I don't know 
why (maybe not good kernel or something) but I don't want to run 
my HP in linux, but in DOS. I tried using some combinations of 
msdos.sys, io.sys and command.com as a boot image, but - well, 
at least it doesn't hang again - it says "can't start from RAM 
image". So maybe it wants some header in bootimage anyway?

I tried to find anything useful on Bootix webpage, but didn't find 
anything concerning this issue. I hope they will at least reply my 
email I sent them.
