Just got my diskless machine running when i ran into these lockd fialed to monitor errors. When i first mounted the root fs over NFS, it was ok... after i started making symbolic links it started. The machine seems to run fine, but takes forever for it to boot because it's getting this. I believe lockd is in the kernel and i tried both kernel based nfs and nfs server support to no prevail. Can anyone shed some light?
