PS2-Mouse and RTL8139 Etherbootcode (immediately reboots ...)

Hi,
	I have a problem with ps2 mouses and rtl8139 etherboot: If I
connect such a mouse to the computer, the system immediately restarts if a
response from the dhcp/bootp server comes. If I disconnect the network
cable all is working fine and the code prints <sleep> because nothing
happens. All is working fine with a serial mouse too. But if I boot with
ps2 mouse and network connection: With the answer from bootp/tftp server
my computer restarts ... This problem is independent where I place the
code, if in a seperate Bootrom or within the AWARD bios flashrom.

Does anybody know a fix for it? We purchased a number of ps2 mouses we are
unable to use now :-(
