Linux Kernel 2.2.1 netboot errors.

Hi all.  We've been using Netboot to boot diskless linux machines
for the past 7 months or so, with no problems.  We decided to update
to kernel 2.2.1 and the best we can do is to get a number of error messages
on boot and shutdown:

boot errors:
portmap: RPC call returned error 111
RPC: task of released request still queued!

These appear about 2-3 times.

shutdown errors are of the form __nfs_fnget (broken inode errors here).

fsck is running as I type.

Has anyone else run into difficulties with kernel 2.2.1?
