Old question... and no direct answer. Has anyone tried to burn the booteeprom with Donald Beckers vortex-diag.c <ftp://ftp.scyld.com/pub/diag/vortex-diag.c> If you compile it with libflash.c (see last lines in vortex-diag.c) it should do the burning. But I have not been able to test it (have no 3c905B-TX for the moment). If it works you can use a 3c905B-TX to burn anykind of EEPROMs with right configuration (not only bootproms).
