eepro100 vs. ntulip speed

Is the tulip driver in netboot based on the FreeBSD driver, perhaps?
FreeBSD recently released a new driver for 21143's (the dc driver in
4.0).  It turns out that the 21143 is enough different from the
2114[01] (the origional 10Mb and 100Mb) cards from DEC.

Linux's driver has always been significantly different, but even if
you're based on the linux driver, you may find that you havn't tracked 
a key difference that the 21143 introduces.
