You have to try: most EPROMs which fit the socket and are the same size
as the lzrom image should work. Bigger ones should also.
Manufactureres often deny even the existence of a bootrom socket in
their documentation, don't ask me why (3Com sells a bootrom for about
40$, maybe that's why).

You need the Configure Utility for the card, often the ROM is not enabled.
If You succed, please hand over the data, there is a hardware database
project running. (card type, card utility, used PROM, etherboot
compile options)
