Probably. In any case the Alpha would have its own netbooting procedures
so you don't need Etherboot or Netboot. Ditto for the Suns.

However if you were just trying to create a tagged image using an x86
kernel for a x86 device using the Alpha as a cross-platform, then it's
possible there are word length portability problems with mknbi-linux. For
one thing, the default int size on Alphas is 64 bits.
