mknbi-dos and mknbi-mgl

Is it possible to get mknbi-dos and mknbi-mgl for DOS as EXE Programm
from somewehre?
For me it would be difficult to portate it to DOS.

We use Windows95 Remoteboot in connection with (Novell 4.12 Server,
NE2000 netcards, and LANWORKS MSD Bootroms). We boot about 150
workstations from the server with 10MB at the moment and we would like
to upgrade to 100MB.  

I did some tests with Linux Bootroms in connection with Dlink DFE500TX
100MB netcards.
I used DHCP and TFTP on the Novell 4.12 Server (Last Update UNIX
Printsevices Installed). 
The paketdriver from Dlink is 50k and there is not much room left for
the rest to compile.
I compiled the bootrom with the minimal kernal and without ANSI driver.
I had no problems to boot DOS from the server.

The Dlink netcard is furnished with a bootromsocket DIL28 (27C512) and
uses a DEC Chip 21140
which is supported in Windows95, NT, and Linux, also the price is
reasonable (ca $50).
Lanwork FTP Bootroms are too big for this netcard. A Eprom 27C512 is
cheaper as an 1MB EEprom for other 100MB netcards.

It would be nice if there would be a smaller packetdriver.

I use at the moment Windows Menueprogramms from Lanworks
(Bootwaremanager). This Programm is also for TFTP Boot but it is not
compatible with the Linux Netboot Bootroms.

Ist es möglich mknbi-dos und mknbi-mgl als DOS EXE Programme zu
erhalten? für mich würde es sehr mühsam werden diese auf DOS Ebene zu
Portieren.

Ich habe erfolgreich eine DLink DFE500TX 100MB Netzkarte in Verbindung
mit einen Novell 4.12 Server (DHCP,TFTP) unter DOS getestet. Der
Packettreiber ist 50k groß und läst sich nur in Verbindung mit einer
minimalen Kerneloptinon und ohne Ansi untersützung Compilieren. Ich
verwende momentan Lanworks Bootroms in verbindung mit NE2000 compatiblen
Netzkarten möchte aber auf Dlinknetzkarten umsteigen. Der grund ist
diese Netzkarten verwenden Den DEC Chip 21140 der von NT, Win95, und
Linux unterstützt wird. Ausserdem ist der Preis vernünftig. (unter
100DM) Diese Netzkarte besitzt einen Bootromsockel DIL28. Wüschenswert
wäre ein kleinerer Packettreiber. 

Wir setzen momentan ein ein Windows Menüprogramm von Lanworks ein
(Bootwaremgr). dieses Programm gibt es auch Für FTP Boot ist jedoch mit
Ihren Bootroms nicht kompatiebel. 

Wir setzen Windows95 Remotboot im Schulbetrieb erfolgreich ein!
(Novell 4.12 Server, Ne2000 Netzkarten, Lanworks MSD Bootroms).
