I think this was fixed after 4.5.6. From the LOG file:
+ Krzysztof Halasa found a small bug in nfs.c in the handling of BOOTP
extension files.
When reporting a problem, be sure to mention whether it's Netboot (which
is maintained by Gero Kuhlmann, not me) or Etherboot and the version.
