Thanks for the info, Larry. I think there is something strange going on
with the LNE100TX v2.0 cards. I have been unable to have any EPROM
detected. I have tried 27C128, 27C256 and 27C512. I have copied the ROM
code all over the EPROM and used the DOS debugger to try to find it.
ROM-SCAN doesn't see it at all. I called tech support at Linksys, and
they were completely useless. I will try calling sales and ordering an
EPROM for the v2.0 card and see what I get.
I am beginning to wonder if Linksys made a terrible mistake with the
version 2.0 cards...
Anyway, if anyone get a Linksys LNE100TX version 2.0 card to recognize an
EPROM, please let me know.
