Kalendar is a simple, easy to use calendar and to-do list manager. Features
include, day, week, month and year views, appointments, todo lists, day
events, day notes, alarms and repeating items. Security features allow other
users various types of access to different categories of appointments.
KOrganizer is calendar and planning software for the K Desktop Environment. We
strive to take the best of programs like Microsoft Outlook, UNIX's
plan, and Netscape's nscal and combine them together
with our own innovations to create the most useful free software of its kind
available.
KOrganizer supports vCalendar, a IETF standard for personal data
interchange. This makes communication with programs like Starfish Internet
SideKick or MS Outlook possible.
Tkchooser is a Macintosh Chooser-like network browser utility that supports
multiple protocols (appletalk, smb) with a modular architecture and relies
on external plugins to provide client-specific functionality (appleshare,
laserwriters). The idea is to bring a simple GUI-based network interface to
Unix.
XAnim is a program for playing a wide variety of animation, video and audio
formats under X11.
Xlab is a tool to automate any X application by recording and playing back
X-events.
Xwrits reminds you to take wrist breaks, which will hopefully help you
prevent repetitive stress injury. It pops up an X window when you should
rest; you click on that window, then take a break.
Xwrits's graphics are brightly colored pictures of a wrist and the attached
hand. The wrist clenches and stretches ``as if in pain'' when you should
rest, slumps relaxed during the break, and points forward valiantly when the
break is over. It is trapped behind bars while the keyboard is locked. Other
gestures are included.
